When dealing with realtors, I’ve always entered the relationship thinking “they are not your friend, they don’t work for you, they work for themselves.” Of the six homes I have purchased, Susan Borochov is the first realtor to change my mind. She is a superb professional business woman, awesomely knowledgeable, and one who most ably, and with great personal concern, represented us. For example, she explained deeds, permits, surveys, and other complex documents, as well as government and legal requirements. She helped us by dealing with the mortgage company, escrow company, insurance, negotiations with sellers and their realtor, and she shared a list of maintenance and remodeling contacts, all of this clearly with our best interests prevalent. Several times throughout the buying process, she foresaw and resolved potential problems with negotiations; even a several-year open permit which would have delayed closing, perhaps even voided the sale. Finally, she has been very generous in taking care of us after the sale. After a 30-day whirlwind, we have a new home, and a new friend, Susan Borochov.

From a buyers perspective, the reason I trust Susan is because she genuinely wants to help her client(s) find the perfect place. When you meet her it is clear this is her passion. She responds quickly, negotiates fairly, works well with other agents, and is always willing to make things work. She is diligent, resourceful, good at multitasking, and always has a positive attitude. Susan might be better known in Kailua/Kaneohe but don’t let that fool you, she knows Hawaii Kai and other town markets too. In the event your new forever home needs renovating Susan knows reputable people to get it done for you. She also has a network of industry professionals that made my experience go over smoothly. I highly recommend her.

Susan is a BOSS in the real estate profession. I decided to sell my condo right after the interest rates spiked and we got an offer SO quickly (1-2 days). From the beautiful whole-condo staging that she provided (!!!), through negotiations, all the way to final closing, Susan really made the process easy. And we got almost 10% higher than asking as there were several offers. She was very responsive and communicative throughout the entire process and always was prepared with recommendations with how to proceed. I highly recommend her to anyone buying or selling a property. She will be my agent going forward. She is someone you can put your complete trust in to get the job done.

Susan Borochov Let me just begin by saying that I would not be a homeowner had it not been for Susan Borochov. She went Above and beyond what was expected of a Real Estate Agent. Do to the nature of my deal, being a foreclosure, there were already a number of hurdles that I had to overcome, not to mention the fact that I was purchasing with my VA loan, which added an extra layer of issues. My purchase to close to a year and Susan was with me every step of the way. She handled all communication with the bank and alway kept me in the loop. I never felt in the dark and that kept my anxieties at bay. Not to mention the amount of people and vendors she knows was just incredible. She never made me feel obligated to use people she knew and always gave me the room to explore my options but to be honest, after all my research, her contact always had better service and great prices. I had issues trying to get my inspection, Susan was there. Looked at many termite inspectors hers was better. Needed to get my septic inspected Susan new right where to point me. Even before I started, I could not get my loan approved. I went to 3 different banks, I couldn’t get passed my credit check and I felt so deflated but ounce again Susan to the rescue. She referred me to an amazing person who worked miracles and got me approved. I don’t want to make this review to long not because I can’t because god knows I could write a book on how great she was as a Real Estate Agent but I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed with tons of reading so I’ll just say this. As good of a Real estate Agent she is, She’s an even better person. Halfway through my process I literally felt like a family member was helping me, not someone who was trying to make money. She’s extremely good at her job and if by now you can’t hear the sincerity in my words it’s only because I can’t find the words to express that my life has changed for me, my wife and daughter because we are now proud home owners and I firmly believe it’s all because of Susan Borochov and I know for a fact, she will provide the same level of service that she gave me for all of her clients.
