WOW! Welcome to another day in our new home in paradise thanks to the VERY BEST Realtor on O'ahu, Susan Borochov. It was very impressive how she managed a complex and very competitive negotiation to a successful outcome for us! Whether we are sitting out on our gorgeous lanai overlooking out pool and tropical lansdscape; or inside cooking a meal for friends in our perfect kitchen; we are truly enjoying our new home. Susan is an awesome agent to put it simply. She was on top of everything and answered all of my questions and concerns. Susan Borochov provided me with information and tools necessary to sell my apartment. There were serious issues with the association potentially stalling the sale process. Susan assisted me in resolving those issues and in doing so protected my interest and potentially avoiding litigation. Susan basically educated the property management as to their responsibility to the homeowners and how to properly care for and maintain the common areas of my project. Using reviews to gauge a person or companies value is a mixed bag these days, which is why I will only write these for a select few that have really impressed me, good or bad. Early on in my investment history I had some bad experiences with Realtors. Couple that with my youth and ignorance of what a GOOD realtor should be capable of really left a bad taste in my mouth for that profession as a whole. Susan is actually a family friend, but when my wife and I sat with her I was pretty blunt about my feelings for Realtors and the Industry on the whole. Susan took that well, and we teamed up on our first of many transactions. Over the last 5 years or so we have done several deals together. Susans knowledge of the industry on the WHOLE (and that is huge trust me) is amazing. Susan has impeccable ethics, a quality that is getting harder to find. Her relationship with other Realtors in the Industry is wide spread, which also comes into play during negotiations. Susan is the type of personality that would be highly successful in just about any career, lucky for us she chose Real Estate. If you are looking for a 'throw it at the wall and see if it sticks approach' from a Realtor, she isnt the one. If you are looking for someone who is more concerned with their commission than they are in doing what is right by the client, save some time and look elsewhere. If you are someone who knows what they want, is reasonable about their finances and appreciates a knowledgeable and honest opinion do yourself a favor and at least speak with Susan. At the end of the day, and this is something that just about every adult has experienced at one time or another, I have NEVER left a transaction feeling like I was poorly represented. In all honesty, I have purposefully done deals that I may have otherwise put off or not attempted strictly because I knew Susan would get the job done. My life goal was to make sure my family was taken care of both now and when I'm gone. I met Susan when she was helping my sister sell and buy a new residence. She was very knowledgeable and knew the markets. I was so impressed with her, she was the first one I called when it was my turn to sell. Unfortunately it was a bad market for sellers, multiple units in my building with no bids. Susan helped me with every single step, cleaning, packing, moving, repairing, buying new furniture and virtually staging my condo beautifully. We bought our home in Kaneohe with Susan in 2015 and she was amazing!! She went above and beyond to make sure our closing went smoothly. So in 2021 we were ready to sell and move back to the mainland. We knew we needed to enlist her services again. We were planned to wait and sell in 2022, but she advised us to sell sooner because she is always diligent about being informed of the market. Sure enough, the market had a downturn, but we had taken her advice to sell sooner. Because of that we sold our home in a week for top dollar!!
